A new Ferry Flat is built for the Ferry line that ran between Allenport and Fayette City during 1919. This Ferry Flat is taken to Allenport on May 6, 1919 by the Steamer TRANSIT.  The two postcards above show this Ferry several years prior to the new Ferry Flat being built, but I believe this Ferry shown may be similar to the new one built in 1919.
