September 27, 1895 - Measured some saw lumber on the Fergus Farm, same work at various times until March 30, 1896 for 0 Neil and Company.

April 2, 1898: cold and blustery snow squalls all day December 21, 1898 and December 24th snow all day.

Monday March 28, 1898 sided boat 340 at Joliet - O'Neil & Company.

Friday and Saturday March 18 and 19, 1898 - moved water closets and build drain boxes for McCune at the O'Neil house, half of same being occupied by John Slacker.

Frenches also Prices Showboats at West Elizabeth Wharf, March 29th 1898

April 5, 1898 snowstorm 4 in.

April 8 and 9,1898 - Working on Steamer Little Fred. Wheel work, pitman straps, coal boxes, wheel burrow, side captsins, etc..

April 11, 1898 bought wheelbarrow from Sam Byers, built and ironed by himself.

April 20, 1898 worked in Little Mill, ONeils, on Steamer Belle McGowan. Wheel stuff and plank shear and nosing for Steamer Elizabeth.

March 10, 1898 put light wheel bucket plank on Steamer Belle McGowan.

March 9 and 10, 1898 light buckets and balance rudder on Steamer Little Fred.
