These photos show the Pittsburgh Wharf during the 1911 celebration commemorating the building of the first Steamboat on the Monongahela.  A replica of this boat, the New Orleans, is the small boat in the center-left of the B/W photo.  Read about this boat being built at the Elizabeth Marine Ways, August 1911 and September 1911.
