First Snow
Saturday eve November 2, 1912
On Monday
morning November 4, 1912 we found a man lying under the Ash Well of the
Steamer Tornado almost Dead he died at the P. & L. E. Station
on his way to the Hospital we found him at 7:30 AM he died at 8
AM he was Ed French Stewart of the Steamer Tornado and by the
blood trail he had fell off the Boiler deck over the railing and had
crawled zig-zag 60 or 70 ft to where we found him the body was
taken in charge by undertaker J. Will Martin - the doctor we called was
