JW
Lynch on the first page of his journals lists various jobs that he had
before working at the Elizabeth Marine Ways. In
1895
he writes that he cuts lumber that was used on the ONeil line of tow
boats, including the W. W. O'NEIL.
At the Elizabeth Marine Ways JW writes about the W. W. O'NEIL being in the
boneyard across from the Ways and parts being scavenged for use on other
boats,
May 17, 1913 is one mention of this
occurring.
The
photo below shows the W. W. O'NEIL at the Elizabeth Marine Ways early in
the 1900s. JW is not listed as being one of the men in this
photo. He may be in the photo but I can not tell. |
